Really? That surprises me. I was talking to people about the fight for weeks beforehand, even my wife and her friends were talking about it.Comment

Clever wording by arum. I know he said 2 million buys. I assumed 🇺🇸. I thought anything over 750 here was good. Joshuas first fight on showtime here was at 5pm eastern time and had like 250k viewers. The replay did lil fewer. I know cable and ppv r dif but fury has much larger following over here. Hope he keeps head on straight. He backs up what he says.Comment

I am from the UK and I do understand the context.
Nah it probably still does alot more than 150 k at that time. You know multiple fights have done a million or close at that same time slot?
Fury-Wilder 2 was a massive fight here. There's no question at all it will do better numbers than Fury-Wlad. Regardless of the time slot.Comment

AJ vs Ruiz at the same time on Skysports (a much bigger platform with bigger reach) at £19.99 barely did 500k. And AJ was at the height of his popularity with massive marketing by |Skysports. BT didn't even market the fight and they pushed the price up.
If you think this fight did 800k in the UK, you're definitely a nitty and you need to section yourself. LMAO.Comment

You actually believe that AJ-Ruiz 1 was a bigger fight than Fury-Wilder 2? No one gave a shit about AJ-Ruiz 1.LMAO. Then you must be living under a rock.

BT did market the fight massively. Fury-Wilder 2 was heavily marketed what the fuck are you talking about?
I didn't say it would do 800k. But it will certainly do a lot.more than 150 k.Comment

Nah, you said you believe what Arum said and that means you believe the bogus 800k number. You actually believe that AJ-Ruiz 1 was a bigger fight than Fury-Wilder 2? No one gave a shit about AJ-Ruiz 1.

At that time, AJ could've fought Mr. Bean and it would be bigger than any Tyson Fury fight in terms of PPV sales. Wilder vs Fury 1 didn't even do 100k and they never released the number apart from the fake one they posted on wikipedia
If this fight did anything close to even 400k, Frank Warren would've been screaming everywhere the next day. Stop it and get sectioned.Comment

If you are correct that Joshua against a nobody would sell better than Fury/Wilder then that only confirms that the brits knowledge of boxing is weak. You guys should stick to soccer. God loves the queen and Manchester United!Nah, you said you believe what Arum said and that means you believe the bogus 800k number.
