So that’s how close it was to being a wilder knockout victory in the 1st round.

So how can there be little interest in the third fight? Wilder has the power to knock fury out!
I have not read about him saying that and I read boxing scene top headlines every day. When I read about Fury saying that I will believe it but until then I don't believe he ever said that. Tyson won every minute of every round and his trainer threw in the towel. That is why so few give Wilder much chance of winning a third fight and wish he would not insist on it.

People justifying a rematch on the basis that the guy who got whooped landed two punches.

He said it in the ring about 20 seconds after the final bell. People are talking about it because it was in the BT behind the scenes clip.

Basically, it was Tyson saying "don't feel too bad, you hit me with some good shots".

Only looked easy because Fury was in there, taking the right hands but moving back and riding them. They woud have cleaned out other heavyweights.

It is amazing how Wilder is suddenly a bum now..... he gets taken apart by the guy in the division with the most balls and the most skill and suddenly he is a bum and can't fight?

Wilder cleans out most heavyweights with those right hands.

We already knew that. 19 rounds is a long time and wilder didn’t manage to do it.

Many other fighters also have power to knock out fury. Let somebody else have a go.

AJ was beat as bad, and got his rematch. They're signed to a rematch, so it is (barring hearn buying the thing out). Wilder disappointed but his nervous pacing, the weighty outfit, and a few stunning punches really can erase your legs. The head shot also left him like AJ was in the Ruiz fight ... discombobulated probably concussed ... i.e. unrecoverable in the space of a fight.

A 3rd fight will give Wilder a chance to get his preparations right, and prepare for the new heavy-handed, aggressive Fury. He's lucky they signed the rematches. I'm not sure if he'll have enough time to properly prepare, but ...

As far as fans wanting to see the fight, it will be just as big. Everyone wants to know if that's the Best Wilder can do. Hearn actually stated a good plan to get the unification fight. We'll see what happens.
