Seriously...tell me how those rounds scored for Ike (outside of 8) aren't clear Ike rounds. They were rounds where his aggresiveness and cleaner, harder shots were telling the story.
    i gave rd's 1 and 10 to forrest
    1-Forrest 10-9
    2Ike 19-19

i finally saw the fight.like forrest said ike best punch is his jab. which he landed more then forrest but forest landed more power shots, and threw nearly twice as many shots so if ike was coming forward when he did foresst was throwing combos. 95 94 either way becuase of the deduction

I've read people go to the extent of wanting to "Petition" for "Changes" because of the scoring in this fight.

        That's absolutely ridiculous.

All Ike did.....was walk foward and throw one punch at a time, while Forrest was tagging him with the jab.

I scored the fight even, and Forrest's activity won it for him.

....I thought Forrest landed the cleaner and more effective blows but it was an even fight for the most part. The point deduction could have led to a slight advantage for Ike and I would have probably given him the decision win with that taken into consideration. However, calling this one a huge robbery is uncalled for.

Which is it...did you score it even or did "Forrest's activity win it for him"? You kinda made sense(although i didn't agree) until that statement.

What is so hard to understand?

            I scored it a draw.

Forrest's Activity won the fight for him on the Judges Scorecards.

I agree the whining over this decision has gotten to be a little over the top. I thought Forrest would have won clearly but he didn't. No man did. I didn't score the individual rounds but I thought a lot of rounds were close and it was ok if you felt Forrest's activity trumped Quartey's accuracy in some rounds.

I agree that the complaining is a little exagerrated. I had Quartey winning 5-4 with 1 round even. I think it would be difficult to score the fight 5-4 Forrest with 1 even. Some rounds were close but I thought Quartey won at least 5 rounds. To give Forrest 6 rounds though (96-93) I think is preposterous. Do you think that Forrest won 6 rounds to 3 with 1 even?

Probably not, but I have to preface that by saying I didn't score the fight. I don't like to score fights the 1st time...takes the fun out of it.
