Seriously...tell me how those rounds scored for Ike (outside of 8) aren't clear Ike rounds. They were rounds where his aggresiveness and cleaner, harder shots were telling the story.
I have watched the fight again..with the sound off.. and i came up with the same card except i gave Quartey the 10-8 round, i dont think Forrest did enough to make it even.

1. Ike 10-9
2. Ike 20-18
3. Ike 30-27 (even though he was hurt)
4. Forrest 37-39
5. Forrest 47-48
6. Ike 58-56
7. Forrest 66-67
8. Forrest 76-77 (even round)
9. Forrest 85-86 (Forrest won the round, point deduction made it a 9-9 round)
10. Forrest 95-95
95-95 draw, but I remember a few of the rounds were tough to score, where neither of them did enough to win the round.

See:
Just as easily as my scorecard contained an even round, it's no news that someone could have scored it in favor of Forrest....and that would have given him the fight even with the point deduction.
Like I stated. It's not beyond any stretch of imagination that Forrest won 6 rounds on someone's scorecard.
Round 1: Bazooka 10-9
Round 2: Bazooka 20-18
Round 3: Forrest 29-28 (I could honestly have scored this for Ike as a couple people have)
Round 4: Bazooka 39-37
Round 5: Forrest 48-47
Round 6: Bazooka 58-56
Round 7: 10-10, didn't see either fighter do enough to win the round more than the other 68-66
Round 8: Bazooka 78-75
Round 9: 9-9 due to point deduction, 87-83
Round 10: Bazooka 97-93
And, RWK, I only saw Forrest land 2 good uppercuts all night, the 1 that stunned Ike momentarily and 1 that moved his head back slightly. His best punches were punches to Ike's earmuffs because that's where most of em' were going.
i thought a lot of early rounds were very difficult to score but i thought quartey clearly took control down the stretch, the combos forrest threw were thrown without conviction and without plan. they looked good compared to quarteys one or two at a time attack but the fact of the matter is that one punch in the face is better than 3 on the gloves.
these judges look like geniuses compared to the guys who "gave" the title to juan urango over ben rabah a couple weeks ago
yea the fight was close..even with the point deduction..all the rounds could have went either..people are thrown off because forest has no balance so everytime he throws a punch and misses he stumbles and people think the other guy really threw a hard punch..
It was a close fight, and I don't understand where all these outlandish agendas are coming from.
I've read people go to the extent of wanting to "Petition" for "Changes" because of the scoring in this fight.
That's absolutely ridiculous.
All Ike did.....was walk foward and throw one punch at a time, while Forrest was tagging him with the jab.
I scored the fight even, and Forrest's activity won it for him.
Ike's spent his whole or at least most of his career throwing one punch at a time. I guess thats why he gets the short end of the stick in most decisions. I had it 6-4 Ike in a very boring fight.
