I never paid any mind to that 2 million figure anyway tbh. Considering their first fight did just over 300k buys I would say this is a win.

That's a good number.
However, it only goes higher with Fury v AJ in Vegas. There is no other fight at heavyweight right now.
Arum and Hearn are no doubt jumping on it and looking to start a bidding war from DAZN/ESPN/BT/Sky/UK/Saudi, etc.
It's not a hard fight to make as I think both Fury and AJ would settle on 50/50.Comment

Yep!!! This was everywhere on american TV. I must have seen adverts and TV presenters speaking about this fight 4/5 times a day.
And forget what Arum was saying, 850K is a very very good number of PPV.Comment

Neither wilder nor fury is a draw that’s why Joshua got 85 mil for his fight and they warned a combined 50 mil the difference is laughableComment

I swear all some of you do on here is complain..Bob Arum said the fight needed 850K just to break even and was predicting 2M PPV buys. They spent 56M in guaranteed purses for Wilder and Fury alone, had unheard amount promotion pushed by 2 of the top networks in the US and still couldn't crack 1M buys and probably lost money best case scenario they break even. lolComment
