I put more stock into Wilder than weakass Lucian Bute. They are not even comparable really.
Bute was never hyped as Canada's greatest fighter. He was a solid fighter with pretty good skills. Wilder is more hyped, but probably not much worse of a fighter than Bute. The big difference is that Bute never talked and blabbed like Wilder. He was basically a humble guy who fought with heart.

It's kind of impressive how you can fit so much nonsense into such a short post. Wilder has a very good chin. Ortiz can punch, as could Arreola and Stiverne even if they weren't the best fighters overall. Most heavyweights can punch in fact, and Wilder has shown that he can take it.

Fury got dropped by Cunningham, a guy who was known to be feather fisted at CW. If Wilder has a glass jaw then what does Fury have? For the record neither has a bad chin. It's just heavyweight boxing.

The power is clearly not exaggerated, his ability to deliver it arguably is. But once it does land clean its sheer dynamite.

He got beat up but he never quit. To say he got pummeled into submission is just a lie. With all the negatives of that fight for Wilder it is pretty low to make up things to knock him further. The truth is bad enough.

That boy's chin and body are made of glass. Heavies don't get dropped with simple body shots. Fury also wobbled him with two stiff jabs.

No amount of juelzing can change his glass chin. He got tested for the first time by a guy who doesn't even punch hard and he folded.

Lol at thinking Andy Ruiz would just run in on Wilder and not get touched...Wilder still landed a good 4 or 5 right hands on Fury in the first two rounds of the last fight...imho if those land on anyone else at HW, they are hurt/KD/ possibly stopped.

Ruiz is just too small man...he would likely get lined up if he tries to get inside...punching a 270 pound in shape 6'9 guy is way different that punching a 6'0 250 fat guy...AJ had a bad loss man, it's OK to admit that.

So yes AJ's loss to him is worse than Wilder's to Fury..so in that way AJ would appear to be more of the hypejob compared to Wilder.

That’s very disrespectful to Bute, he got exposed by Froch but he does know to box quite well.... he wasn’t as coddled and babied as Wilder was either.

Wilder is awful and I mean awful when it comes to boxing ability but he was so blessed in terms of physical attributes. He’d probably be worse than Seth Mitchell if he didn’t have a big right hand.

Yeah AJ has a little better resume...not tremendously different though...and Wilder's official loss is much better than AJ's.

Other than AJ's win over Wlad they are pretty similar...and Wlad was pretty shot then so yeah.
You bought the hype bro.. Now just admit it and move on. Wilder was a product of Finkel and US promotion to make as much money as possible without losing the belt.
He was always a hype job.
There are at least 12 or 15 better he's than this fraud. He's not even a boxer, he's a walking lottery ticket who Ruiz would school 7 days a week.

Hope AJ and Whyte fight Wilder now and when Wilder KOs one or both of them I will look for you on here
