That was exactly what happened to wilder.

yes, but after the knockdowns, you would think the trainers would be panicking, etc. but they didnt even look worry or anything lol. it was all calm and quiet... look at pac's corner when he first got knocked down from marquez, roach and buboy was going crazy at manny.

All they could really say at that point is "try to knock him out before youose" but that's been the game plan his whole career.
move his damm head maybe? after a knockdown, most trainers would be yelling at their fighter. but they didnt say anything at all.

To be fair, Wilder never needed one in his 40+ fights.

Reminds me of Mike Tyson's camp in the Douglas fight (IIRC), they didn't even have the right equipment to control swelling. And his team were also yes men who would just glorify Tyson and made a living out of it rather than their professional competence.

Wilder, even after the loss unless he is totally shattered, is still a dangerous top-level opponent. Even at age 34-35, he can improve a bit if he has more professional trainers.

True but you could at least instruct him how to go about landing that right.

Wilder is not beyond learning and improving. That said starting with the basics like a good stuff jab couldn't hurt. He has certain things he can do he just need to be taught how to do anything other than throw right hands.

Shocking that a boxer that’s been champion for 10 years would let his head trainer be his cut man. It’s a joke man.

of course Wilder will be fine BUT he needs to make change both in trainers as well as the way he trains

i understand that wilder doesnt listen but most trainer's would have still be yelling at him trying to get him to snap out of it after a knock down like that. the trainer was just wiping sweats off wilder's face and body. very strange.
They just basically give him simple instructions with no direction like hit to the body more , back him up,stuff that which are very random or basic . My guess is they don’t want to confuse him and let him get the opening when he sees it so his corner doesn’t and never has actually did much. Jay Deas isn’t even a cut man and he had the enswell for the swelling .Ha
