Back of the head? That shot was on the ear, thats why his ear was ****ed up right after the shot. Unless Wilder’s ears are on the back of his head.

The shot landed flush on the side of the head, then the glove slipped round the back because of how Wilder ducks shots.

Train train, run, skip, build those stick legs and that will go a long way in improving his ring generalship and boxing. He can’t fight Fury, doesn’t have the stamina or the inside game, needs to gain respect and keep Tyson outside, measure him for the rights and tie up or get out. Legs.

Wilder doesn't have a good foundation. He doesn't have boxing skills and likes to wait around. It is not like he is very active in a fight.

The only way that I see it if he makes a Hagler/Hearns type of fight and chance it with trying to land something.

He got out boxed by Fury and now he got bullied. So in other words if he sits back either he gets outboxed or he will be pressured out of his comfort zone. I don't see any other way than go for it.

So what does Wilder do to be more competitive against Fury?

My guess, he comes in light. Not so he can score points, but so he can run and stop Fury cutting him off. Hoping he can land something big from the outside.

I don't think it will work, but I think it's his best chance.
Deontay knows exactly what he needs to do to beat Fury next time .. wear a lighter costume for his ring walk.

            A few tips:
            - join WWE and practice some of Fury's wrestling tactics of mishandling (or getting out of it). Being short has its own advantages (ahem..." accidental" headbutts while rising)
            - practice one or two other shots other than the right hand, like uppercut or short hook for when Fury is close enough
            - practice defensive movements and tactical escapes (Ali or Haye style)
            - come shirtless like Iron Mike (with silly costumes)
            - give yourself some rest (you ain't 24 no more to come out of one fight and straight into another camp)
            - settle your weight around 225lbs
            - stop being a "warrior" and become a special forces guy (they sneak in, attack and make a quick escape)

If he comes in lighter he gets ragged doll even more ,it doesn’t look good for Wilder he is trying to pull an Anthony Joshua here by taking the immediate rematch but he get mauled , AJ had all the advantages to win the first time, Wilder has none against Fury beyond power but that’s even neutralized because Fury takes a better punch .

                  Wear a lighter costume
Make sure he urinates before the fight
                  Tamper with Fury's scales
                  Use Gypsy magic
                  Don't break his arm
                  Don't break his hand
Make sure it's not raining on fight day
Don't get tired in the locker room
Don't be scared of his own punching power
                  Use a different hair cut
                  Use baby oil

                  You know, all the stuff Fury did to him and he'll be fine. No need to adjust anything as he's just a perfect fighter and the more talented of the two and Fury can't hurt him since he hits softer than his 2-year old baby and he's a gutless coward etc;

Good point. Next time, instead of looking like a demon, he should come to the ring looking like Cam Newton, rib protectors and everything
