    Wilder in full meltdown mode

I had a lot of respect for him immediately after the fight. He said he wanted to go out on his shield, credited Fury for his performance, and said he had stuff going on but didn’t want to make excuses (essentially I took that as he felt off, but wanted to come back stronger).

He REALLY should have just left it at that, took his vacation, and got back to work.

At this point, his excuses are getting worse and worse and may end up having a much worse effect on his career and legacy than this loss did.

I was always raised to own my failures, losses and mistakes and to do my best to learn from them. I was raised believing that the worst thing to do in failure was to deflect it on others and blame it on other people and things instead of taking full responsibility and trying to get better.

At this point, and I know these are harsh words, as you all know I picked Wilder to win by decision and have said a lot of great things about his power and also his underrated boxing ability... I don’t think I will ever root for Wilder again.

    He’s mentally done.

Fury will be like a dog with a bone now that Wilder has shown how mentally fragile he is.

Don’t be surprised if says yes to a rematch then pulls out of the rematch with an phantom injury after the press conferences.

Not many fighters or fighters fans take a loss without excuses. From pinky toes, saltwater healing, the man in the black hat, anxiety attacks. He isnt the first and wont be the last.

You picked Wilder by decision? Bruh... Lol

Anyway, it hasn’t even been a week since the thrashing; the pain is still fresh. Although I agree Wilder should’ve let his original comments stand, I’m not holding his later excuses against him — at least not yet. First thing he needs to do is rehire Mark Breland. Firing him was a dick move, and I’m hoping Deontay reconsiders when he cools down.

Pretty much the same....... had respect for his fighting mentality right after but really want to see him hurt again in the rematch for not having respect for Fury's win and coming out with a ton of excuses, sacking his trainer etc
