Haymon has no money to keep fixing Wilder anymore. He has no talent or skill to beat any decent hwt in a REAL fight. Wilder is done. Fury will slaugher him, so too will Joshua and Whyte and Usyk.

Don't get me wrong, I respect a guy who acts like a gentleman, 100%...but everyone makes excuses after they lose really, in some form or fashion...you have to, otherwise you are basically saying you have 0 chance to beat that guy and never could...how often do we ever hear that? Never...guys always have an 'excuse'...just human nature.

Wilder is just trying to find something to help himself cope, and find some fuel mentally to figure out how to beat Fury/again be the top man (which he viewed himself as)...also, importantly, boxers are their own promoters, so I don't really hold their 'crazy' words against them...they have to be their own hype man and sometimes that includes saying crazy stuff to get attention.

That may not be Wilder's intention here...but he showed a lot of heart in there against a bigger better (on the night) fighter...hats off to him and I think he will bounce back...would still love to see him KO AJ.
Dude losing is part of the game and is not suppose to feel good. But excuses are for b1tches. People that b1tch and make excuses for why they lost are mentally weak. He was all high and mighty while knocking bums out but the second someone get the better of him he makes pu$$y ass excuses.

What he needs to do is own up to it like man and let that loss ignite a fire inside him that makes him take his game to another level so he can try and avenge the loss.

He needs to quit acting like a b1tch.

        - -If you boys got rang up like Deyonce did, you'd be speaking gibberish for a few weeks too.

Needs to take a year off to reset, but it's doubtful he'll ever be a player at hvy.

I don't think I can explain it much better than I did in my original post...when you lose, you make excuses...everyone that loses, does it...you can blame external factors - the refs, judges, opponent cheating etc...or you can blame internal factors - injury, bad gameplan, wearing a 40 lb suit apparently lol.

Think back to the last time you lost at something, and what you told yourself...'oh I should have done this differently, etc'...it's what we all do man.

You could argue that one should keep those excuses to yourself...that's a fair argument.

But as I said, boxers are their own promoters as well...what I am hearing from Deontay as much as anything is 'Hey guys, I know I lost...but it was BS and here is why...definitely tune it to watch me the next time I fight someone, it will be different.'

Yeah I just can't be mad at the guy...not even a fan of his really...but he showed me something I liked vs Ortiz in the first fight, showed me a lot of heart...and showed me that again vs Fury...a lot of people would have found a way out before the stoppage...I commend him for that and have respect for him for that as a man.

No, dudes that lose and make excuses are b1tches. Plain and simple.

You can’t be all high and mighty while knocking bums out then makes ****** azz excuses for why you lost. That’s how you lose respect and expose yourself to being mentally weak.

As mentioned, literally everyone makes excuses when they lose my friend, if you don't, you are basically admitting you are inferior and could never beat that person, so have fun with that mindset little buddy...I'm sure you're a real tough guy though lol

Wilder's got heart; just no dignity. Poor loser.

                  This logic isn't sound.

All you have to say is: no excuses, the better man won on the night. Well done to them. I'll go away, make some changes and come back better next time.

Agree with the OP. I don't have the same respect for Wilder after all these ****** excuses.

Dude, little children do this. Their parents, teachers, coaches etc teach them not to do so. This is a part of growing up, not acting like a child any more but as a man that takes responsibility.

Deontay Wilder is 34 years old.

Think back to the last time you lost at something, and what you told yourself...'oh I should have done this differently, etc'...it's what we all do man.
That's slightly different. Learning from your mistakes is a positive characteristic. Seeking to blame others for our own failings is not.

But as I said, boxers are their own promoters as well...
Then he's a lousy one. Hardcore fans are aghast at his treatment of Mark Breland, head and shoulders the best man in his corner and the only one with the balls to do the right thing by him. His response? Throwing him under the bus. It's made him look weak, foolish and vindictive. Not a good look.

Casuals are laughing at his costume excuse. It's a gift wrapped meme that will follow him for the rest of his career. He's gone from 'baddest man on the planet' to the dude that blames his defeats on his wack ass costume.

His statements are the PR equivalent of emptying a full clip into your own foot. Then reloading and taking out the other one.
