    I'm done with Wilder

I was a big fan of his. Got a couple autographs and pics with him. Supported him the whole way.

These excuses are just to much. I mean just own up to it and take the loss and learn from it. Get a new team and come back strong. Don't make every excuse in the book.

I just can't support this as a fan.

This should be a #walkaway thread for Wilder fans.

I respect your point of view. He just became the biggest joke in boxing with all those excuses. Losing is part of the game but those excuses are something else. I'd be turned off too if I was a fan of his

            It'll still watch his fights.

He just lost and is speaking foolishly. The reality is that he should be somewhere reflecting, not giving comments on anything. Let reality sink in a bit.

This is what Im saying! I dont mind the loss it may be good for him in the long run.

BUT the excuses! I mean cmon these are heavyweights and MEN! You go from saying I want to catch a body to saying a 40lb costume zapped you! A costume YOU decided to wear!

Maybe it's just me...but I would rather a guy fight like a warrior in the ring, and make some excuses afterwards as to why he lost...vs taking the easy way out in a fight and then acting like a gentleman.

Don't get me wrong, I respect a guy who acts like a gentleman, 100%...but everyone makes excuses after they lose really, in some form or fashion...you have to, otherwise you are basically saying you have 0 chance to beat that guy and never could...how often do we ever hear that? Never...guys always have an 'excuse'...just human nature.

Wilder is just trying to find something to help himself cope, and find some fuel mentally to figure out how to beat Fury/again be the top man (which he viewed himself as)...also, importantly, boxers are their own promoters, so I don't really hold their 'crazy' words against them...they have to be their own hype man and sometimes that includes saying crazy stuff to get attention.

That may not be Wilder's intention here...but he showed a lot of heart in there against a bigger better (on the night) fighter...hats off to him and I think he will bounce back...would still love to see him KO AJ.
