If he retires in the near future there's no way he can be compared to Oscar De La Hoya. Oscar fought more wars and even has some losses and his legacy is still in good shape. If Manny retires soon some would consider his short career a one hit wonder. His career highlights isn't even as long as a video on TRL.

A lot of his fans really want him to go out on a winning note no matter the low quality of opponent (overprotective). He should fight some fights where he is the underdog. That shows heart win or lose. IMO I think Manny's speed gives him a good chance to beat someone in 135.
