** Study up junior. He demolished Barrera and deposited Marquez into the peanut gallery where he fights to this day.

Manny is the most exciting fighter in boxing today and should retire if his heart ain't in the game.

Well he is about 3 months away from doing it again...

This wouldn't be a bad retirement plan for Pac Man to follow:

        November: Morales
        March '07: Barrera/Juarez winner
        August '07: Barrios
        Late '07/early '08: JM Marquez
Spring '08: Farewell fight against a lesser fighter in Manilla.

A lot of his fans really want him to go out on a winning note no matter the low quality of opponent (overprotective). He should fight some fights where he is the underdog. That shows heart win or lose. IMO I think Manny's speed gives him a good chance to beat someone in 135.
what you just said is rediculous...why is it that people only base Pacs career on his fights with the 3 mexican fighters....even before he fought MAB,EM and JMM he was already a 2 time world champ and unlike many fighters out there he actually did it by beating the linear and/or the "man" at each weight he ruled. he was already champ at 19 years old when he shocked Sasakul with a KO..then he did the same to the "man" at 122,after MAB left, when he mugged Ledwaba...in both fights Pac was offered as a stepping stone for these fighters and he dominated and ko'd both...just because these fighters werent marque HBO fighters dont mean they were tomato cans...even before pac fought MAB he had already paid his do's and if he wants to retire then he's got more than the right to.

Here's what I'm saying. Manny has a handful of career defining fights. ODLH, BH, PBF, and RJJ have at least two handfuls of these fights each. I secretly want Pacman to whoop Z Raheem.

yes he does have the right to retire. But if you ask an average/casual boxing fan who Manny Pacquiao is, they might say they don't know. M Pacquiao has barely scratched the surface in mainstream American Boxing. I can't get a good conversation about Pacman beating Morales in the workplace or at family functions.

Exactly, and if he retires, he will only be remembered as a little ***** who was scared of primed opponents.

He wants to retire because it is only Morales who has enough balls to fight him again, and he knows that he'll kick his ass again come November
