Fury's resume is not that impressive

Way too many people are talking about Fury as a top 10 HW of all-time. His resume does not stack up at that level. He has 2 good wins total. Every other fighter he has faced is a bum. And his good wins aren't all that impressive. Wilder is the most overrated boxer in history. 0 wins total vs good competition. Wilder literally cannot box. All he is a one trick pony. Not that impressive considering he also had a draw vs Wilder. I thought the judges robbed Wilder in the first fight. His other impressive win was vs a 39 year old Klitschko. Good win but the man was heading to the retirement. Not even close to the same fighter. His skills were diminishing at that point. No one is touting Joshua as a GOAT for beating the same Klitschko. I want to see Fury beat more good competition before I crown him.

Ended Wlad's reign. Ended Wilder's. After that, there isn't a whole lot there.

Maybe not top 10 of all time type yet, but better believe the ATG hype is coming for whoever comes out on top between him and Joshua

Beating the two champions of his era in their own countries is enough for me.

Any other boxer would be praised.... give Fury his props....... the fact he came back from obesity makes this win all the sweeter.

Fury was on the Top Rank "Terence Crawford Plan" . A parade of C-level fighters you never of, unless you do some deep digging at BoxRec . Maybe he picks it up now after beating Wilder. We dont need another obscure European you never knew existed .

BTW, is Kownacki on the Crawford Plan? He ducked Breazeale to fight some guy from some country overseas ...

Ali was great because, among other things, he went to Zaire and fought Foreman when no one thought he had a chance...and he KOed him.

Fury isn't as accomplished as Ali...not arguing that...but similarly...Fury went to the US and fought Wilder twice, earning a draw (imho) in the first fight...and then KOing Wilder in the 2nd fight when most predicted he would lose, and very few predicted he would get a KO.

He ended Wlad's reign, away from home as well...very impressive 2 victories...that is the type of stuff that makes someone great imho...his high is very very very high...not as consistent as some other great HWs all-time, but his name could be floated vs most other past HWs now...with us ruminating how those fights would go...that kind of tells the story of Fury really.

King of the division, dethroned Klit who ruled for a decade, went off the rails for two years, came back when nobody said he could, and then dethroned the next longest reigning champ.

                  Yeah, Fury sucks.

Neither was wilders. Shows the state of the heavyweight division. Although I believe fury is the current best.
