I see Wilder taking the rematch. He's got nowhere else to go. If he wins (I doubt it) then a 4th fight will happen. If he loose (expected) I see him retiring.

Boxing is a business!!!! Of course he is going to take the 3rd fight. He just made 28 million & that doesn’t include the 50% of all other revenue yet. He will get 40% guaranteed for the 3rd fight. Anyone who thinks he shouldn’t take the rematch is insane!!!! When is going to make 20-30 million again if he doesn’t take it. I don’t think he would really care if he lost again. Would you????Comment

The public might not care for the rematch.
But I can see why Wilder's managers will try to force it anyway.Comment

Wilder needs to fire trainers and management or at least hire an Abel Sanchez type trainer who'd help work on inside fight game uppercuts ECT. Like his corner was silent just standing for the first 3 rounds . If possible renegotiate the contract where Wilder can fight hughie fury one fight and fury can fight Whyte then let the collide for a 3rd fight in say Saudi Arabia big money more than they'd make anywhere else in the world plus no tax. Itd everyone would be happy it'd give Whyte his title shot. Fury an easy win and could cash out contract with a fight vs Wilder and AJ after that. Itd give Wilder time to develop inside fight game build confidence back fighting similar style plus maybe get weight up to 240 while staying in shape before 3rd fury fight. Itd give AJ time to keep rebuilding aura and cashing biggest checks in boxing by fighting and ko pulev and usyk before showdown vs Wilder or furyComment

Anyone who wants Deontay to fight a third fight after seeing that is a cold heartless SOB, and I include his team in that. The guy was bleeding from the mouth and ear and will be psychologically crushed and Fury will be the overwhelming favorite in a third fight. It's borderline dangerous.
Boxing is risky enough as it is, Deontay apparently made a load of money from this fight and risking your health is not worth if for a few more mil.
He should retire, but if he feels like he still has something to prove then he needs to rebuild, which will be the most unlikely rebuilding job ever but that's the only sensible option imo. Take some time off, come back and fight a decent (no tomato cans) fringe contender like Whyte or Chisora and if the right hand delivers then try to get another shot. Wilder will always be marketable with that right hand. Hyped and fighting bums for so long, its time to make it real or go home. I think it's possible too. I don't think he's ever going to beat Fury, or AJ for that matter, but if he was to spark out one of those other guys he would at least have a legitimate shout and have some confidence back.Comment

Why wouldn't he take that fight and $. He was getting beat up but didnt just fold. He was willing to go out via KO.
He shouldve got a trainer years ago. Fury will do the same because Wilder cannot move or do anything besides that right, which he was scared to throw because of the counters. Make it happen!!!Comment

Lol!! “2 tremendous fights”..?? Wilder got clearly out-boxed in the 1st and literally beat-down in the one-sided 2nd!!Comment

Ridiculous!!! This was an easy fight for fury. This was a total annihilation by Fury. He beat Wilder and Bayless (the referee) with that win. Bayless was also the third man in the ring whenever floyd fought. It's always two vs one when Bayless is the ref.Comment

Wilder need a lit in his ass, If he want to comeback to the top.
Tyson Fury had rough, mauling and throw around Wilder like a rag doll and he going to likely do the same, but better. Wilder need this rematch only, to secure completely the future of his family and retire.Comment
