Actually you have a good point - like Manny when he DUCKED the Hornet rematch after losing.

What? Wilder needs to EARN THE RUBBER MATCH. Unless their is a rematch clause. He needs to fight Dilan Whyte to get that shot.

Wilder might be in a "damned if he do, damned if he don't" situation here. An immediate rematch might not be the smartest move, but not taking it might result in never getting it!

Wilder desperate for one last big payment. Maybe after he can beat Breazeal again and try to hype fight with Joshua

              Team Wilder cashing him out.

I just hope they have that towel ready.
Don't want to see Wilder getting seriously hurt.

Wilder will get his pay day and should retire.

              Stick a fork in him

Fury already beat him 2 different ways. It wasn't even close, Fury demolished him. Does anyone actually believe Wilder has a hope of winning a 3rd fight? I don't imagine Deontay thinks he can.

Of course Wilder will exercise his rematch clause.

If he doesn't, he will never get within sniffing distance of another 8 figure payday again. A fully fit Tyson Fury was the first elite level opponent Wilder had faced in over 40 fights, and we saw what happened. He doesn't really belong at that level, and he never will..

Come on Deontay ... activate your rematch clause, bring your white towel, collect your money and fuck off, asap. There are great fights waiting to be made in the HW division!

Tough call for team Wilder. If they don't take the rematch, Fury moves on to fight AJ and or Whyte. Imo, if I'm in charge of his career, I'd take the rematch. It was a beatdown but he got caught in a Heavy weight fight. It happens. I don't think he ever recovered from the injury to his ear. That shot ended the fight. That Wilder continued showed his heart. I'd favor Fury in a third fight.
