Thinking abstractly is it fair for one fighter to have a 40 lbs weight advantage?

I don't know that weight mattered THAT much in this fight. I think Fury's strategy won him the fight more than anything else.

That said I'm on record here in previous threads suggesting that there shouldn't be an open or unlimited weight division. It's beyond silly that most fans seem to think weight stops mattering above 200lbs. I'd like to see boxing hijack the MMA divisions across the board which would mean there would be weight limits of 205 & 265. That or I wouldn't be mad at boxing coming up with its own weight divisions that are say 8% apart so boxing wouldn't overly favor smaller guys winning multiple belts & bigger guys wouldn't have such wide gaps like LHWs moving to CW or CWs moving to HW or fights between HWs being widely apart.
