This sport is not a game, not a movie and the only MF's who believe in heroes and gladiators are those Arses making money with ****** movies in Hollywood. I myself prefer my beloved wise guys movies.
I think the coach did a service to Wilder when he threw in the towel, heck, he might have saved him to fight another day.Comment

Deas is a joke, if Joshua had him in that position and Deas sat on the towel he would most likely be permanently damaged or worse right now, he’s lucky it was Fury’s solid but not huge punches raining down on him. Fury is not a clinical finisher like AJ and I am not for a moment suggesting the fight with AJ would play out the same, but if Deas corners this ineptly against a puncher of Fury’s power I would not trust him against a real puncher, it’s totally irresponsible.Comment

He’ll end up with someone like Freddie Roach who’ll convince him he can coach an offensive fighter better than anyone and then send him as a lamb to the slaughter whilst he collects his massive cheque.Comment

Wilder should feel like an idiot for paying these yes men to "train" him. Clearly they're just taking his moneyComment

Deas is a fool. You fight to win not to not get knocked out. Can't count on one punch while you're getting beat up it's not safe. I understand Wilder wants to go out on his shield but it's your job not to let him before he gets hurt.Comment

Rewatched the fight and Ward was saying they weren't even caring for him in the corner lol.
Must have many dogs to fight if they let them die the first real bloodbath.Comment
