    Wilder's chin.

How do you rate Wilder's chin?

I think it's weak. He was rocked by Molina, Ortiz, and dropped by Fury twice, who isn't known as a puncher.

It’s obviously not amazing but it’s his lack of defence that is more of an issue. He moves back with his hands down and head up. It was like Fury couldn’t miss when he was moving forward and throwing shots.

Unlike the Ortiz fight he wasn’t able to recover either he looked completely gassed by round four and lost his already poor shape and clearly had no idea what to do.

But back the chin he’s taken enough flush shots to not have a glass chin. Probably average for a HW

Has good recovery but can’t take a punch all that well, look at his body when he gets hit not his face . He’s packing glass and when you get hit by a 270 guy you would know what that means ,the results displayed themselves last night .

before the fight I said coming in at 231 was not a good idea. I had Fury by ko in 10 because of that. Fury just did it in less rounds.

He took a shellacking for 7 rounds from one of the biggest men in the division and you question his chin?

He was wobbled by a damn jab. Out of all the crap ive read this myth about wilders great chin is one of the most ridiculous ive ever read. Thought it had died for good last after he spent a few rounds stumbling around like hed just necked a bottle of jack daniels, but obviously not

His chin is better than his body and legs.

Wilder has a good chin. Obviously not exceptional by any means, but far from questionable. Fury isn’t known as a big puncher, but he was determined to KO Deontay last night, something he doesn’t usually do. A man that large, landing punches, will break through against most. And, the last I checked, Wilder’s corner stopped the fight.
