Who said Vernon won the fight? I sure as hell didnt.

I said Vernon ran and was more active while Quartey was lazy and plodded forward and barely threw any punches. Have you never seen a fight where one fighter was more busy and active and got the nod despite the other fighter being the agressor and landing the better shots?

That is what Quartey vs Vernon was.

I suggest you need to watch more boxing if you havent seen fights that are like that because they are usually close and certain judges score on certain criteria. For some reason or another.

I never said who won, I said they both fought like crap and it was garbage to even watch...I thought the fight should have been ruled a draw or atleast the nod to Quartey because of the point deduction...

You guys are making a big deal out of nothing you act like it was for the super welterweight championship of the world. It was a meaningless 10 round fight w/ no significance what so ever....10 rounds between two veteran fighters and a fight is bound to turn out like this..

Stop crying and whinning and bitching about the decission. I myself picked Quartey, but you see folks that's a goddam unanimous decission.

It may have been close in all the scorecards but in the end all the three judges have have Forrest winning. So there should be no controversy and nobody can cry robbery. Not unless you people are insinuating that the three judges got paid which is not likely.

That's just another closely fought battle, that's all it is.

at the end of the fight Teddy Atlas scared the **** outta one of the official.

Agustus was robbeb by SD and the official put it MD. Damn dont those offical or boxing judges know the rules of boxing or something.

Vernon never won the fight. If he's man enough hell give him a second chance like Mayorga did with him. If most of you thought the fight was a draw, what about the point deduction from Forrest? That would have made Ike the winner. Either way you put it Ike won.

Judges were clearly wrong. Judges in this fight knew and saw nothing.

I really wish that fights were analyzed on a recording before an offical announcement is made on who won and the scores.. Meaning in the recording room a score can change.

This is not a bad idea......an instant replay of sorts.There are just too many ****ed up scores lately.......something has to be done.Although I picked Forrest and thought it was a close fight..... I did not score it due to having friends over and what not,I felt Quartey won especially with the low blow point deduction.......
