Fury vs Joshua?

Who wins and how?
Do they have to fight each other? I dont want them to particularly, I like both, and they are both English.
What do you see as good match ups?

Hmmm. I'd have to give Fury the edge, provided he takes the fight seriously and is focused.
Will the fight ever happen ? That's a good question and I have no clue actually. I could see Fury retiring w/o taking the fight. The thing is, if Fury does retire without facing AJ, I think a huge question mark is left on his "legacy". I think Joshua is at least good enough that a lot of people will wonder and question why the fight couldn't happen. I know I'll be left with a serious doubt. Especially if AJ can take out Wilder... THEN we get a mini super fight with AJ vs Fury. Like some others have said, "It has to happen", doesn't it ?

it's like aj vs ruiz, AJ can clearly fight inside as he's proven numerous times, but the problem is it leaves you open eg vs ruiz.

Fury always needs easy tune ups before he can gear himself up for a big fight. How would he fare boxing elite level opposition consecutively? it wears them down, they get sidetracked one time and they pay for it. Had TF boxed someone elite instead of otto wallin, he would have to be focused.
I guess it's a whole different thing, to be THE champion and become the sole target of every elite fighter plotting to find *****s in your armour.

Let me get this straight. Your arguments consist of: (1) a triangle theory that rests upon the (false) notion that Klitschko has any semblance of inside fighting ability; and (2) a fight that happened a decade ago. I may be wrong about this but I believe Steward told Klitschko not to throw uppercuts on the inside because he couldn't throw them properly...

I rewatched the Fury-Wilder fight last night, some of the inside skills Fury showed (when Kenny allowed it) were sublime, riding short hooks, adjusting his head inches to avoid uppercuts, tying up and getting off combos... this is a world apart from the inside fighting we ever saw from Klitschko, or will ever see, I believe, from AJ. This forum really is bizarre sometimes, it's amazing to me that people still can't see how good Fury is

I agree that the Wilder fans were delusional regarding Wilder's power and ability. They thought Wilder was indestructable and able to destroy anyone with a single punch...which was an absurd belief. They loved putting down Joshua, a fighter who is actually more talented than Wilder. But don't get me wrong, Wilder has some great qualities and I like him a lot. But I don't think for one minute he would walk through Joshua. In fact I've always believed Joshua would win that fight. Wilder does have excellent hand speed and power, so he has a chance, but I think Joshua has the technical advantages in that fight as well as equal power.

and now Fury has given Joshua (and a lot of boxers) the blueprint to beat Wilder.

Got robbed in a toe to toe classic when he had McD ready for a KO, but McD SPRINTED to the opposite side of the ring to buy time for the bell.

Turning the back like that much less a fatty in full sprint is automatically a TKO or DQ Fury was robbed of.

Fury is huge guy, remember. Kownacki, Ruiz, Parker, Povetkin, Whyte and many others shorter guys couldn`t maul Wilder like that.

I think Fury would win, but would be more cautious like he was in the first Wilder fight. He can't utterly expose AJ's lack of skill like he could against Wilder, and it's also less risky to 'avoid the equaliser' for 12 rounds because AJ doesn't have the unpredictable OHKO power. I also don't think AJ can be manhandled physically like Wilder was. Fury will just pick off round after round, IMO.

But it's Fury so who knows. He can probably go in there and do what he wants. A lot also depends if AJ can get over his fear of being hit now that Ruiz is out of the way.
