You might be right about him suffering long term damage but let's just hope he comes back as good or better than he was before.
I like Wilder too. And Fury for that matter. I was rooting for Fury because I thought a Fury win gave us a better chance of an undisputed champion ASAP and an undisputed champion is what I care about the most, no matter who it is.

Wilder showed incredible heart and determination continuing to fight in that condition. Considering he had a rematch clause, the smart thing would have been to just never get up after the shot to the back of the head and just live to fight another day. But he was so determined even though he had nothing left to give. He may never be the same after tonight.

And I want to point out two things. #1 - Fury wasn't aiming for the back of the head, Wilder ducked. #2 - Wilder didn't have his hands up and put himself in a terrible position being so careless after the break.

You're wrong. I've watched the best replay angle in slow motion dozens of times and the punch is very clearly behind the head, not on the ear.

Change your youtube settings to .25 speed. There are two good replay angles starting at 11m 42s. It's very clearly behind the head.
Nahhh a foul is a foul and you probably happy defending wilder of that KD he got in the first fight as truly legit. I have not even read any fury fan here making excuses for the wilder shot at the back of furys head..

He hit him near the ear/neck area and his fist Slided towards the back of wilder’s head as wilder was already going down.
If it was at back of wilder’s head his ears wouldn’t be bleeding because of it.

go put it on slomo 100 more times. But it’s difficult to convince someone who sees what he sees.

Wilder got beat down man, just accept it.

You're moving the goal posts now. At first you said he hit him on the ear. Now you're saying he hit him near the ear. Go watch those replays in slomo again. Hit pause as the punch lands and see where the glove is. It's clearly the back of the head.

Not a foul when the punch wasn't aimed at the back of the head. It landed on the side of the head because Wilder moved. Silly fat man.

It's not a scoring blow to punch somebody directly on the back of their head, even if they duck. It's an accidental foul.

It doesn't matter. It's Wilder's fault for having his guard down. This is boxing. No excuses. Fury didn't do anything dirty. Wilder was lazy, had his hands down, panicked and ducked and got clipped on the back of the head. The fight was over right then and there before it ever really got started.

Na a a a. Your guy still got beat down bad. I watch the replay on the link that you provided and gave a different view because you insisted on Me watching it again. Which is true.. just accept it as a clean defeat and beat down.

I haven’t heard even the trainers or wilder, or any of the commentators said it was on the back of the head.
Coz it wasn’t. Near it maybe. But i wasn’t on the back of the head.

His performance was an absolute disgrace, im not blaming America cause brits are just as bad with home fighters. But u know if wilder had so much as wobbled fury the fight was getting waved off. Its not the first time wilders been gettin extra time to recover in fights. Bayless was literally breaking up fury from punching him in some exchanges like 'break it up youre too close, wilder cant land his right hand'

Wilder ducked and got caught behind the head. Wilder has nobody to blame but himself. It's a clean win for Fury. But the fight was over with that punch. Too good of a shot. Right on the back of the skull. Fight over. There was no need for Wilder to take the beating after that. It was over.

you talk sense but fury did hit him in the back of the head. he did it in the first fight and he did it here in the 2nd. clinching way too long, leaning on wilder way too long, punching after the break/bell, punches to the back of the head in the clinch. bad win. didnt like at all. these are facts, the footage shows it

Ohhhhhh noooooo nooooooo....it was on the ear and wilder ducked into it......another excuse mother ****er who cannot accept his boxer is ****ing ****.
Not learnt one bit of skill since a being professional
And has been protected all his career.
Joshua would smash wilder inside 3 rounds and would actually doctor sleep him.
I also said wilder had no skill level and last night that was fully exposed to the world..
