So you're saying Wilder should have been disqualified in the first fight? Have you been posting your outrage about that in these forums since the first fight? Have you ever even mentioned that before?

The accusation is that the ref was in Wilder's pocket for the second fight. If that were the case, he wouldn't have ruled it a legal punch. I don't think the ref was in anybody's pocket in either fight. I never complained about a long count in the first fight. I think the refs in both fights did a great job.

True, this wasn't looking like it was going to last long. I hope Wilder didn't suffer any long term damage.

Bayless is a f**king cvnt! His performance in this fight reminds me of how terrible he was in the Pac-Mosley fight.

I think he definitely did suffer long term damage. He was essentially out on his feet for 4-5 rounds. It was definitely the type of fight that does long term damage.

Oh oh so it’s different because of the impact? Looooooool

Okay let’s tell wilder to punch harder in the back of the head next time to make it even!!!

Go watch the replay 100 times before you even comment here. The punch was not on the back of the head.. it was on his ears..

I like Wilder. He's a hard guy to hate, as far as I'm concerned. He's also a true warrior. He showed great heart in this fight and in the first Ortiz fight. I want to see him fight again and I want to see him be successful, happy and healthy. He's great for our sport!

You might be right about him suffering long term damage but let's just hope he comes back as good or better than he was before.

That's how fouls work. A foul that ruins you for the rest of the fight is treated differently from a foul you can quickly recover from.

You're wrong. I've watched the best replay angle in slow motion dozens of times and the punch is very clearly behind the head, not on the ear.

Change your youtube settings to .25 speed. There are two good replay angles starting at 11m 42s. It's very clearly behind the head.
