Someone should have taught Deontay not to block with the back of his head.

Yeah that's what happens when you turn your head as a punch is coming.
      Anymore excuses?

          - -Deyonce ducked into a punch aimed for his chin, not a foul.

Need to go back to some clod sport like football or mma, but first, time to change them sagging BigBoy trainers before the EPA arrests you for stinkin' up the place.

              • I think Wilder will enforce the rematch clause, he could wait till late 2021 to fight the Fury vs AJ winner but that's simply too long to wait for a guy who's already in his mid thirties.

                • Lol...even with Kenny "I won't see a brother lose" bayless in there Wilder had nothing. Just a shame this didn't happen a few years ago so the WBC could've had a boxer as their champ. I'm sure fury will be able to get deontay some bare knuckle fights if he wants to be a champ again, coz he ain't going to be a boxing champion ever again

AJ wants the fight and has already called for it.
Wilder has been protected from any serious competition for obvious reasons, Fury and AJ will happen with no problems.

                    • That punch towards the back of the skull f*#ked Wilder up for sure, unfortunate but his defence was too open. Like I said, that's the only hope he can cling to in a possible 3rd fight - 'you caught me round the back of the head' and 'I never got going in this fight' line.

But for sure he needs a new trainer and team, not the bunch of 'positive' yes men in his corner, or the silent Mark Breland, none of these people have improved much a physical specimen that should not be getting ragdolled by an oversized toddler-body Fury lmao. He has no defence when under attack other than to lean back with his gloves in front of him. He doesn't even know how to change levels with his head to make it a harder target. He doesn't know how to fight on the inside, none of this has been taught to him.

Breland was convinced Fury was bluffing by saying he was going on the attack. I thought it was a possibility. So you at least train for that possibility and adjust after the first round where it's clear you predicted a different approach from Fury.

I don't know whether he can learn all these things at 34.... I think he's reached his level.
