  • I am made up that Tyson Fury won 'Not a big supporter of his but? For whatever reason, deep down I wanted him to win. It was alarming how much lack of skill/variation Deontay Wilder has, and are people in the boxing world 'Still calling him the hardest puncher of all-time really? I have never ranked Wilder as the hardest most devastating offensive fighter of all-time. I told everybody on this site repeatedly, that Fury was going to take it straight to Wilder and fight him like he fought Steve USS Cunningham 'No dancing, No stinging'.

Deontay Wilder if he wants to surmount a comeback, needs to train as if he cannot punch 'He needs to train as if he is Pauli Malignaggi' He is a multi-talented athlete who could of played at a high level in basketball, surely those transferable skills if he focuses could help him at-least improve his pure boxing skill to a level where it is not novice etc

Tyson Fury felt and saw something in the first fight, and KNEW he could bully and stop Wilder 'How hard to Wilder really punch? Because he looked as if he was underwater last night. Tyson Fury completely took him apart, but even in defeat he was game I will give him that much credit.

Note: Sugar Hill Steward also needs congratulating. He has proven his ability as a coach, as Fury style did vividly change 'No more flicking jabs, a strong authority jab etc'

These incompetent refs have screwed Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder twice now.

Here in this clip we see Wilder concussed from the rabbit-punch, Gypsy-Bum Tyson Fury comes again with that windmill over hand right trying to land the same illegal punch. Look at Deontay's legs! The more I replay the 3rd round, the more I get sick.

      • I couldn't watch the fight and won't be able to till Tuesday (travelling). Read the headlines, and must say I was surprised. I expected a near 50-50 fight with probably Fury even winning but on points. Few people say Wilder fought totally wrong and Fury was brilliant while some blame an injury (eardrum) from what I saw. It appears Fury did what he said, which is strange of Fury (HAHA).

Either way, cong**** to Fury and hope to see more exciting fights from him. As for Wilder, whatever the case, now with a loss and less pressure on him...he needs to diversify and train on skills and variety in punches. One straight right-hand was always going to be a disaster. He's lucky it case so late. And since he thought, "if it ain't broke, why fix it"...then it is now broke...so please fix it.

I am a casual HW boxing fan and would love to see competitive fights. An improved Wilder would be a delight and make for entertaining fights to come. He should fight for as long as he remains hungry and competitive and should also fight AJ. I also hope Fury does not retire before fighting AJ, Dubois, etc.

        • Everything we witnessed last night in that fight was all boxing iq. Fury's got generations of fighting behind him. Anyone think Fury Aj will be any different? Wilder & Aj are both late start novices by comparison.

            • An entertaining, if one sided, fight. Wilder has been outboxed before, but not beaten up to this extent. He had nothing left. Fury solved the puzzle - move in, get inside those long arms, and wear down spider legs Wilder. Plus, Fury is tall enough and quick enough to land his own jab with ease. I don't know about a rematch. Wilder can't become a skilled boxer by August. He could work on his legs more, add 10 pounds of leg muscle, and have a more balanced body, that would help. Wilder looked quite clueless after Fury closed the gap, no inside game at all. Work on that, every day.

Always after a first loss, really his second because Fury did enough to win their first fight on the cards, future opponents are emboldened. From here on out, Wilder's fights are going to be tougher for him. He had a great run, exciting KO fights. Now every opponent will be moving in on him and trying to rough him up.

              • Tyson fury is no. 1, I'm so so glad he proved me wrong, he proved that Wilder is a one trick pony and he carnt fight going backwards, it will be the same result if they fight again, Tyson outboxes or stops him whichever he choses. Wilder for some reason played the race card and tried to make it a black v white thing which is wrong, with his black satanic looking costume, this was a battle of good vs evil, and when you have the one true God on your side Jesus, u carnt lose 👍 well done Tyson, brilliant, now let's defeat the paper champ BJ, and Wilder take a rest, learn to box going backwards and stop with all this evil looking crap, it's only a sport. Maybe instead of fury trilogy fight, how about Wilder fighting dillion Whyte instead that wud be fun.

Saudi . London or Vegas will pay huge money for this.
I’ll go with Joshua , wilder is weak has zero boxing skill and just a right hand to save the day.
Wilder was a fighter that was going to get exposed as soon as he stepped in there with somebody decent.
Agreed 100%, that's the fight that should be made next. A trilogy doesn't sound like a good idea monetarily, as this was too one sided and likely to have the same result.

They're should be no excuse not to make the fight as it would be a unification fight that trumps any mandatory.

I like all three of them, and wish Wilder a quick recovery.

With regards to money I think Joshua has no choice but to split everything 50-50 based on Fury's impressive, decisive and devastating win. There's no doubt he just put the Heavyweight division back in the spotlight. Arum and Warren will be rubbing their hands with glee.

Wilder will be ruing the day he didn't take the $120m, without some major transformation and return he's not likely to be earning more than a few million per fight. Granted it was a gamble that would have paid big bucks had he pulled it off, but he lucked out. He does have one last throw of the dice in a rematch to get it all back like Joshua did, but you couldn't make a case for him not to retire if he gets knocked out again.

Wilder vs Joshua is still a big fight, but he won't be able to demand much given the way he lost.

Apparently Wilder has an amazing metabolism and can't develop fat no matter how much he eats.

If he can metabolise whatever he eats and is trying to put weight on by eating huge amounts, he'll put on muscle.

                    • But Fury feather fisted doe! Has to be perfect for 12 rounds to win doe! Wilder just needs one punch doe! Fury's spirit was broken by that knockdown in the 12th doe!

Fury showed greatness in this fight. Courage, ability, versatility, fitness. Very impressive. Fury vs Joshua has to be the fight to make now.
