Andrade was already talking about going to 168 to fight BJS. Everybody at 160 is willing to go to 168 to fight Canelo, except Charlo. Charlo is interested in keeping his title as long as possible by fighting stiffs.Comment

you need to understand that many Canelo fans don't really know boxing. All they know is canelo. Of course plant isn't just like mayweather, nobody is, but there are certain similarities such as the fact that he is a reactionary fighter. Meaning he can quickly land punches when there's an opening and move away. He's a quick triggered fighter. He also has good movement so like Floyd, he wouldn't be a stationary target for Canelo. These simpleton fools can't put that together. Probably never boxed a day in their lives.Comment

Andrade has and will continue to be avoided. He has talent, skills, and is very awkward. His downfall is that his style can be very boring at times. It's purely a risk versus reward deal. Are all these top guys afraid of him? Of course not but his style makes for a very tough night and he would be extremely difficult to look good against.Comment

Canelos defense reflexes and counter punching are all better than plant, he is more reactionary then plant and it shows on his defense... try againyou need to understand that many Canelo fans don't really know boxing. Along the ropes when hes dodging punches he looks like Floyd. He's an accurate pucher like Floyd. Bread just said he reminds him of Floyd. He's rated #3 by the Transnational Boxing Ranking board which is supposed to be impartial. I think he would do well against Benavitez and Smith who are ranked above him. He's not a lock to lose.Comment

Undefeated champs in their primes will do well against other champs that’s almost a given, but he loses. Plant is good he isn’t a champ for nothing, but he isn’t as good as he says he is, or as good as he carries himself.Along the ropes when hes dodging punches he looks like Floyd. Robi seriously not looking to pick on what you are saying but even if you are right and Canelo is better at those things that still doesn't take away that Plant may have some traits in common with Floyd. Bread is a trainer of world class fighters it's his job to notice things like this.Comment

You have to carry yourself well or you will get run out of the ring IMO. Champions boasting about their skill set is nothing new even if it's not all that. The three top guys are Plant Benivitez and Smith. I think they would make an interesting set of fights and add Canelo in there and these guys could make some real money together if it's promted properly.Last edited by TonyGe; 02-22-2020, 01:52 PM.Comment

You’re right and so is bread, but even though they have similarities... plant is levels below those of Floyd and I don’t care what bread says that’s evidentRobi seriously not looking to pick on what you are saying but even if you are right and Canelo is better at those things that still doesn't take away that Plant may have some traits in common with Floyd.
