He would have to actually fight him first. If you took the time to read the article you would see that it appears Ruiz doesn't want the Ortiz fight.

If Ortiz is as old and shot as you think he is it would seem that Ruiz would jump at the chance to fight him.

AJ was a disgrace to see vs Ruiz. Ortiz would be miles better.

Ortiz has about the same real interest in fighting Andy as Andy did fighting Dillian Whyte....zero, no interest.

Andy wasn't a disgrace he was over weight but I didn't notice fatigue or sluggishness, it wasn't really a factor. Andy simply got out boxed by the better man but doesn't mean he's a disgrace. Andy at least had the Gaul to fight AJ which is more then I can say for some heavy weights.

Everybody talks bad about Ortiz and his age but you never see anyone jumping at the chance to scrap with the old man

Ruiz be Arreola is a tough man fight.

Ruiz vs Ortiz is the fight to make for HW Latino supremacy.

Easier said than done. Who has Ortiz fought in his entire career apart from Wilder (who is obviously unskilled boxing-wise)? Ruiz did what Ortiz couldn't do when offered the chance to fight AJ last year. Ruiz still has the fastest hands around, so I see him destroy Ortiz within 5 rounds.

Yet no one wants to step in the ring with the "old man"
