Comments Thread For: Luis Ortiz Warns Andy Ruiz: I'm No Joshua - Fight Me!

Earlier this week rumors leaked of a potential Andy Ruiz-Luis Ortiz heavyweight showdown ticketed for the late spring. However, BoxingScene.com has been advised that it is more likely that Ruiz will face former title challenger Chris Arreola instead and that the Mexican-American battle could potentially end up happening in the coming months.

Ortiz is right and wrong. Both him and Joshua have lost by ko/tko. Difference is Joshua won his rematch, Ortiz did not. I think this fight, if it happens, is a 50/50 fight. Ruiz/Arreola is hot garbage imo, but if that does happen, put Ortiz in there with the loser of Joyce/Dubois

Ortiz's point is that he won't run in a match against Ruiz as Joshua did in the rematch. He will stand and fight like a man.

Ruiz vs Arreola??....... Awww man come on, I hope nobody tries to justify that matchup, does nothing for Ruiz.

Ruiz vs Ortiz is the fight to make. End of discussion.

People like to use Ortiz's name to pretend like they are about to take a big fight and then they fight someone way worse.

Jarrell Miller, Dillian Whyte, now Andy Ruiz. Chris Arreola should've retired after the Wilder fight, but instead he returned 2 and a half years later.

Ortiz VS Ruiz is more 50/50 than Wilder VS Fury.

This would make sense if the article wasn't Ortiz talking about Ruiz.
