Canelo fans continuing to show their brilliance. Oscar says plant blew his shot based on what? Was an offer made to plant that he declined? Nope. Was plant ever mentioned by golden boy at any point as someone they were looking to face in May? Nope. The names mentioned were murota, Saunders and Smith.

This all came to pass because Plant was asked a hypothetical question about facing Canelo in May right after his fight and he answered by saying that he didn't want to have to go back into another training camp just 2 weeks after finishing a fight the way Kovalev did? Oscar used that as ammunition to pretend that they wanted to fight plant when he never even brought him up prior to then. And as usual, Canelo groupies sipped the kool aid.

Stop acting like Canelo and golden boy wanted to fight plant and plant backed out. Canelo fans are desperate to look for a reason to pretend as if Canelo is being avoided because they're tired of hearing of all of the avoidance canelo has done when it comes to young prime champions. If Oscar, who is canelos promoter, says plant won’t ever get an offer in the future... regardless of wether plant received a formal offer for May or not, means he won’t be considered in the future... what’s hard to understand?

Seen it live. He won by majority decision & it was tough fight. Benavidez battered Dirrell around, stopped him & didn't even break a sweat or switch gears doing it. Not hard to see the difference if you've seen both fights. Don't be a hater.
