As good a boxer as he is, he does not have the power to keep Benavidez off of him for 12 rounds. Benavidez barely broke a sweat dealing with Dirrell's movement & breaking him down later in the fight. If Uzcategui had Plant backing up most of the fight, Benavidez will have him running for his life.
