Folks here not understanding what wilder saying.... Fury already acknowledged wilder was one keeping in contact with him telling him get his life in order first and comeback to boxing only if his head is in it

Yes he is, Team Fury approached Finkel to make the fight happen , if not for Fury Wilder would never had attempted a PPV . With or without Wilder he was coming back in shape slowly this guy lies through his teeth .

A reminder he knew not to do Breazeeale on PPV and we know how the Ortiz one went .

It wasn’t the undercard. It was the main event.

Those tickets were sold for Fury.

So if we translate what Wilder said it means:

              I cherrypicked you????

I watched the card....I could have sworn there were 2-3 fights after the Fury fight.

Then again, I watched it for Fury lol

Just a bunch of talk. Both Fury and Wilder talk way too much and brag on themselves way to much. That is not interesting or enjoyable to me even if it is to many. I think the fight is very interesting and I can't wait to here the results and see the fight a week or so later. I don't want to see it live bad enough to buy it when I can see it free by waiting a week.

And he fought Wilder in 2018, in only 6 months after his 1st comeback fight after being away from boxing since 2015 battling drugs and depression. So technically, Wilder couldn’t beat an over weight coke head the 1st time around.

The fight on Saturday is only Fury’s 6th fight after his comeback. George Foreman had 29 fights before beating Michael Moorer and mostly fought stiffs. Only Larry Holmes after losing to Tyson and being out of boxing for 3 years, had only 6 fights on his comeback trail before his title fight with Holyfield. The greatest Ali only had 2 fights before taking on Frazier after his comeback and it took him 17 fights counting the Frazier fight to win his title back against Foreman. Give Fury his props.
Foreman was out of boxing for 10 years. Fury slightly over 2 years. That's a ridiculous comparison.

Ali was out of boxing for 3 and a half years and right away fought two top ten contenders and then Joe Frazier. That's far more impressive than what Fury did. Fury fought two unranked fighters that were nobodies before he fought Wilder. Mayweather was out two years and fought Juan Manuel Marquez and Shane Mosley in his first two fights back.

Don't pretend that that Fury's road to a comeback is unprecedented.
