Ward would have beaten canelo comfortably.

Maybe... but just maybe his usual cheap tactics wouldn’t have been allowed. Maybe a catchweight or rehydration clause would have been imposed to show him who’s in charge and it would have been karma since we know Ward did that him self to one or two of his oponents. Maybe Ward wouldn’t have been confortable fighting in Vegas with a 75percent Mexican crowd cheering against him. But more than likely Virgil would have advised Ward not to take the fight, you see them guys never put themselves in that type of disadvantage but they would jump at the chance to take full advantage of their oponents. Ward fought an undefeated Kovalev who was near prime. Canelo KOed a washed up old 5 to 1 underdog Kovalev who had lost 3 of his last 6 fights and had recently been KOed, Try to understand the difference if you can.

If a fighter doesnt have a bit of ****iness or arrogance he either wont make it far or should be a fighter.

I cant stand the overly humble fighters. Seems to me like the humble ones are the flawed fighters that accept they will eventually lose.

Honestly same way I feel. To be the best you have to believe In yourself and abilities. Holding your head high and standing by your convictions words and actions is not the same as purposeful arrogance.
