It's not that Ward was wrong in what he was saying, it's the way he said it and wouldn't let it go. Max asked Ward who he wanted to see Canelo fight next. Ward responded by picking apart Canelo's resume and pretty much not giving him credit for anything he's done. Yes, Canelo has had close fights, BUT he fought them. That's what Max was trying to say. If you fight the best, you're going to lose or have close fights

He wasn't asked, was Canelo an ATG, but simply who he wanted to see Canelo fight next. He could've said Billy Joe Saunders and explained why stylistically that'd be an interesting fight and left it at that.

I'm a fan of Andre Ward, but I'm gonna be honest and say he was hating. It is what it is.

From the looks of it, most people here think Ward is arrogant. You might be too much of his fan to see it though. Hes an entitled guy no doubt and that leads to his arrogance.

being on this forum for years, their are a lot of posters who arent very fond of certain fighters who beat their favorite fighters......thank the Kovalev, Froch and even GGG fans.....this forum is a riot and very few around here follow more than their favorite fighters and tear down the rest. its the hope he loses factor....roy jones had it on forums in his prime...floyd did too...and they all have something in common...most their fights in their prime they dominated and people cant relate to that...casual fans anyway. they like gatti types dont appreciate skills


entitled guy? entitled to what? the man fought the best across 2 divisions and proved himself and fought all his best opponents at their best for the most part so he has the right to expect the same from fighters who are billed as p4p the best or monsters is my take

If a fighter doesnt have a bit of ****iness or arrogance he either wont make it far or should be a fighter.

I cant stand the overly humble fighters. Seems to me like the humble ones are the flawed fighters that accept they will eventually lose.
