It's funny because I remember Wilder fans on here defending Fury's lineal status before the first fight when the fight was called meaningless and a cherry pick after the Fury's Pianetta perfomance. Half of them was trying to convince us it was a big as the undisputed fight.

Also thought I remembered Wilder was selling it as a fight between the WBC and Lineal, can't find a quote for this though.

I'm British and I have my own opinion on Fury's lineal claim. Thats like me saying that all Yanks love Trump. So lets not generalise or stereotype each other.

Well without saying it means those rabid Fury/UK fans. If you have been following the topics it is obvious. I know not every brit fan thinks alike, it would be dumb to just be stereotypical of people. But fact is as expected the vast majority of Fury fans are from the UK. No problem with that but it is expected.

I will be watching if Fury wins what tones will it take.

Watch Wilder start calling himself the lineal champ. Funny thing is Fury has used this lineal thing up like crazy other lineal champ never even mention it.

Be honest Redeemer, you don't have enough facts to make the kind of judgement about Wilder that you do make. What you have is what we all have which is what we've been told, so it's all hearsay. The truth is probably somewhat complicated so we (including you) are left to speculate and offer our obviously biased opinions. I will agree that there are the rabid fans out there on all sides. I think everyone has an answer for every slight or insult against who they follow.

I actually wasn't doubting you on Wilder's statement about the lineal champ. I also recall him making statements about it. Wilder (like most of us) has selective memory. As fighters I respect both Fury and Wilder but as moral men I don't respect either. Of course we don't watch boxing based on the fighter's saintliness.

Sorry to get involved in your debate here but I would have to agree that if Wilder is quoted or on camera saying these things then he should have the savvy to either say he was wrong or remember his lies.

On the flip side, its human to be wrong sometimes. No one is perfect and people are allowed to change their opinions. Wilder doesn't come across as very intelligent so he should just let his fists to the talking instead of his mouth.
