Prospect Focus: Subriel Matias

Likely Eddie should have listened though I imagine all the promotions had an eye on Subriel at that time but were waiting to see how he bounced back from the Dadashev tragedy... lotta fighters are never the same after something like that. It's even entirely possible PBC and / or TR had already approached him contigent on him performing against Eniz.Comment

Goddamn. As I've pointed out elsewhere the biggest question hanging over any of these young wunderkinder is what happens when the opponent starts dragging em through some adversity... let's hope Subriel learns from this one and can come back stronger and better...
Ha ha... course many of these prospects are are eventually gonna lose, but I gotta admit when I put this thread up the other day I wasn't anticipating Subriels turn would come around quite so quickly.
EDIT: Working better quality video added to replace broken link.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 02-27-2020, 02:33 AM.Comment

Subriel's Promoter, Juan Orengo, going off about how he feels betrayed because Browny wasn't taking his training seriously, despite being told that he needed to buckle down. Manager apparently even told him he should delay his ring return because there was no hurry but Subriel insisted on going ahead anyway... hubris I guess. Let's hope he takes the lesson to heart.
