Make it happen this year while there's still some question about the result.

The longer they wait, the more the odds are in Canelo's favor.

Golovkin should rematch Derev first. Maybe Jacobs. Both have claims they beat him.

canelo is playing his cards right... he knows the first two fight with ggg left a sour taste and ggg is the guy he needs to beat convincingly in order to be crown as the king.

canelo knows that ggg is on the decline, so evenually, a 3rd fight will happen and canelo will either stopped or beat ggg convincingly this time.

DAZN had bid close to 1bil deals to secure rights for football in Europe but got outbid by BT Sports.

Canelo told everyone in 2019 that if DAZN offers something EXTRA then he’ll consider it. He always states that, and has never stated he’ll take it without it. So given the state of latency with drama and gossip and DAZN needing some extra push seeing industry drama, you think DAZN can’t afford nor offer an extra $40mil for the GGG Trilogy since they can afford high bids? The context is empathy from DAZN execs. It actually exists.

Or do you really think Canelo cares if GGG is on the decline? Canelo is after guys with belts and new challenges, preferably at 168. GGG would have to unify or get more belts for Canelo to consider if there wasn’t any extra added bonus. His words mayne.

This has probably been in the works for a while...having them fight in September of this year...DAZN had to placate Canelo a little bit I bet...since Canelo is such a big star, he doesn't like to be told what to do...but he knows where his bread is buttered as well.

So while DAZN has had its eyes set on Canelo-GGG since they signed GGG...they had to give Canelo some leeway and make it seem like they weren't forcing him to take the fight.

If GGG is going to keep fighting though...it should be Canelo or another real test later this year...at his age I don't mind going 1/1 from here on out for tune ups/hard fights...but if he can't compete at the top level anymore he should just hang 'em up...so a fight later this year should hopefully tell us something.

Canelo better make it the following fight after BJS. Everyone knows that Golovkin isn’t getting any younger. Make it happen and do not delay for anything.

Lol...ah the old 'he went 12 rounds with a guy so he may have/did lose' card lol.

Imho Derevy is really the only guy so far who has really tested GGG and had a legit claim to winning...I could see getting 7 rounds for him watching it live...notice how he really came to fight, the whole fight, and was outworking/battling with GGG throughout most rounds in the fight.

Pac got closer to beating Floyd (which is to say, not at all close - clear 8-4 loss) than Canelo (twice) or Jacobs did vs GGG...but people hate GGG so they don't score his fights well, at all...Jacobs came to go 12 rounds, and so did Canelo in the first fight.

Canelo came to fight in fight 2 but he still gassed out at the end and gives away/makes rounds close vs GGG because activity wise GGG is too active and Canelo fights in spurts too much...any decent person who knows how to score a fight should say that the only close fight GGG has really had is vs SD.

canelo can go and fight anyone else and win but the ggg fight will still be there as a question mark since canelo never beat ggg convincingly.

just look at floyd, no matter what he did, manny was always the name that gets brought up, floyd knows this, so he played his cards right and waited until pac was on the decline to take the fight to shut everyone up.

canelo is taking the same route floyd is... ggg is the guy that canelo has to beat convincingly, or it will remain a question mark and will alter his ATG status.

Your whole post is a joke. Golovkin had debatable fights with Jacobs, Derev and Canelo.
