I didnt hear any yanks whining about Mayweather or Ward being boring defensive snore-fests. Anyway, it's an interesting one still....if Kovalev win a trade off with Canelo then pretty much any 168 cannot. That leaves defensive/ elusive fighters. Enter BJS.
Canelo by stoppage of course, but could be interesting for a while.

Solid name for Canelo's resume, but I don't see BJS troubling Canelo much. 8-4/9-3 type of decision

What more can i say? That’s not an excuse.

Regardless of judging, my opinion is that any neutral or honest person after the fight will say Saunders won...

Canelo cannot beat BJS without his judges. I have no doubt the best version of Saunders turns up. So there’ll be no excuses from me.
BJS hasn’t looked the same without his nasal spray. So if you’re hoping for his best version to show up. You’re gonna stay hoping. He looked terrible on his last fight and was loosing up until the stoppage.

          good fight !

the resident casuals will probably cry, but Saunders is a top 3 possible opponent... there are only 1 or 2 possible opponents who could be better

... I wouldn't be surprised that the shrewd Gypsy wanted to look bad on purpose, in order to lure Canelo...

(and canelo himself also likes "nasal sprays", as I remember...)

His style could make it very difficult to win a decision v Canelo in Vegas though, but i wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a debatable decision.

Anyway, i hope this gets done. We’ll see..

That's why I give Saunders a shot at beating Canelo. He's just an odd boxer who wins despite never looking supremely skilled.

Will be a tricky fight for Canelo probably. Though on paper, Canelo should put him away comfortably. But somehow, I don't think it will go down that way.

But as you said, it depends which Saunders turns up, but i think he will be at his best and motivated. I dunno, i’ve always felt this is a real competitive fight in terms of style, maybe not the most exciting.

My prediction for this fight has always basically been Canelo wins by debatable robbery and i stand by it now.

Stylistically, BJS is the trickiest fight Canelo has had since Lara and a lot of people thought Lara may have won. We can say Canelo has improved, but there’s no evidence to show he can deal with someone like that even now, he hasn’t really fought anyone with that kind of style since then.

BJS is like Fury in the sense there’s no point in looking at form or recent performances. I think he will raise his game.

BJS seems to rise or sink to the occasion. Hoping we get a good fight in May!

I think you nailed it with the Fury comparison. They both seem to fight to the level of their competition and that could very well spell disaster for the Ginger if it was fair judging. If is the biggest little word in the dictionary though.

                    Cross dressing liar

I saw an interview with fishnets and he said no way are they thinking about Billy Joe for Cleneros next fight.

Dude is full of chit just like all the other promoters.

Like i said, don’t look at form or past performances when judging Saunders. He’s like Fury in that respect.

They fight to the level of their opponent a lot of the time. It doesn’t make great viewing but it is what it is.

Saunders is going to make old cement feet Canelo look bad.
