Saunders was underwhelming in his previous fight with the Argentinian. Supposedly De La Hoya said they offered the fight to Smith and Saunders and both said no, yet here we are

Oh so MTK global manages BJS? When did he sign with them? I thought he self manages. Smith would kick himself or hope he would be next after BJS, if Smith had taken the BJS fight last year and beaten him, he would have been in the right position to have two belts and better chance at the Canelo fight. He must have known he is 2nd choice and BJS 1st choice, so why did he turn down the first Canelo offer?

This would be another example of a fighter being rewarded for cherry picking while waiting in line for a cash out. Saunders has done nothing for over 2 years and won the Lemiuex fight before that thanks to drugs.

It's a good fight and the difference in styles should make it interesting.

BJS seems to rise or sink to the occasion. Hoping we get a good fight in May!

Is everyone going to apologize to BJS for calling him a chicken and criticizing him for trying to negotiate a better deal now?

But as you said, it depends which Saunders turns up, but i think he will be at his best and motivated. I dunno, i’ve always felt this is a real competitive fight in terms of style, maybe not the most exciting.

My prediction for this fight has always basically been Canelo wins by debatable robbery and i stand by it now.

Stylistically, BJS is the trickiest fight Canelo has had since Lara and a lot of people thought Lara may have won. We can say Canelo has improved, but there’s no evidence to show he can deal with someone like that even now, he hasn’t really fought anyone with that kind of style since then.

BJS is like Fury in the sense there’s no point in looking at form or recent performances. I think he will raise his game.
So you’re already preparing you’re excuse for Billy

No excuses. Billy Joe beats Canelo, but will struggle to get a decision.

What more can i say? That’s not an excuse.

Regardless of judging, my opinion is that any neutral or honest person after the fight will say Saunders won...

Canelo cannot beat BJS without his judges. I have no doubt the best version of Saunders turns up. So there’ll be no excuses from me.

BJS also rested for almost all his career... in six years he managed to beat Eubanbk Jr, Andy Lee (Kronk), and Lemieux... the rest of the time he was sitting back, not giving a fuck... Gypsy life style...

Sounders doesn't give a fuck about what the fans are saying... I remember him telling Eubank Jr how GGG would beat them both in the same night...
