By the time he fights again, it’ll be his second fight in almost 2 years or something. He’s only fought once now since late 2018.
That’s a lot of inactivity. He’s 33 and had a very long extensive amateur career and been matched tough as a pro since he turned over.
I wouldn’t be surprised if injuries are catching up and he’s looking for risk free fights or no fights until he can cash out.Comment

this fight will never happen, because joshua has the power to ko wilder. wilder knows with someone like fury/ortiz he has 12 rounds to land a big punch and it doesnt matter if he loses all the other rounds. whereas if joshua catches him clean he can take him out with one shot. hes avoided big punchers his whole career, its a case of styles and thats why he took the fury fight and rejected the huge offer from team joshua.Comment

This IS the Era's defining fight. Both are undefeated, never been destroyed like the other guy. Joshua was completely ruined and beaten from pillar to post in an embarrassing way not by a lucky shot. He is a good version of Frank Bruno. Just because Fury isn't black and doesn't look the part Lyle doesn't "see" a Frazier Ali Foremen Tyson Lewis. Whoever beats the tall big white lug with the awkward style and the good foot work will be the best of this era. End of story.Comment

This fight, Wilder vs Fury II is the big show, AJ flubbed his chance. The best heavy weight boxer vs the biggest puncher of the era. AJ isn't the best boxer, or puncher, or iron chinned, or mentally strong, or able to perform on the big stage, or able to face down the top and on and on and on.Comment
