Ref must have had money on Ramos by stoppage. Should be investigated.

In this thread I learned it was Reis’ fault that Perrella was concussed and stumbling.

Most times after a knock down, the ref will take a step back and say, "walk to me".
Reis, pointing to the side, said "Walk there and come back to me". Big difference to a hurt fighter.
Reis was protecting Perrella, which is his main job but he should of been aware that the ten second warning had sounded just as he started to count.

But to what extent is his job to concern for the safety of the fighter? Because we have all seen fights where a fighter is capable of fighting, but is just gonna get beat. Heck, Boxing itself is inherently 'unsafe' so there should be significantly fights that get stopped very early and without a given fighter taking too much damage if the ref is to be protecting their safety.

The bell would have rang to end the fight immediately after he said "box" so, ironically, Perella was literally in no further danger of being hit, and thus his safety was already secured.
