Stoppage was not "fine" The mat had been slapped. He knows the fight is almost done. He also knows Perrella most likely the winner. That was a drama king move. And I have no particular favorite. I also like him as a ref. Nothing personal.

If Reiss was going to stop it, he didnt need to send him over there, to come back. Who does that? The Ref says, come to me, and the guy comes with his hands up, or the ref does what he has to do. All Reiss is doing, is giving the guy more time than the law allows.

Weird ass stoppage, i woulda been more convinced if it was stopped after the first Kdown that was a nasty upper and perella looked ouuut...

Second knockdown he actually got up more stable , that instruction of :

Go over there ! Now over here !
            What?
            This is over

            Wtffff

The ref,(Jack Reiss) made a horrible call stopping the fight when it was practically over(there was only about 3 seconds left in the fight)..This call is worst than the Richard Steele stoppage in first Taylor/Chavez sr fight..

A good action fight, but usually Reiss does a much better job than this. Terrible stoppage. Perrella winning most if not all rounds but the stoppage round. And all because he just got careless for a second. One thing for certain, Ramos will never beat a solid boxer again. They'll all be prepared for the distance. And in fact, IMO at least, there should be a rematch. It would definitely sell.
