He might just go fight Masvidal if he comes out victorious against Usman. I don’t agree with it but if these guys keep pricing themselves out then that might just happen. The game is changing and it’s changing quick. And in every aspect.

The fight game in general, but mostly Boxing isn’t what it used to be. It’s not about fighting the best anymore. It’s about making the most money while minimizing risk. But the pendulum swings both ways. Just like these unknowns want to make the most $ so does the champ.

So if these unknowns want to price themselves out. Asking for more than they’re worth. Then the champ can look elsewhere to maximize his earnings. So If you’re fighting on the undercard of a YouTube star. How can you complain when the champ is offering 4x your worth? Seems like they’re the ones ducking

Charlo was recently asked about moving up to fight Canelo, and he said that he is the 160 WBC champion, that he would only fight Canelo at 160.

I feel like Canelo could literally fight anyone though. Say they picked Munguia for instance would that really make much of a difference to Canelo financially?
