If you were undefeated world champ, #1 at 168lbs and you saw Kovalev and Jacobs get $10m+ each would you really be happy to take $5m?

Golden Boy are still in a strong position when it comes to making a great fight. Just keep upping the money until one of Smith, Saunders or even Andrade is willing to take it.

If two fighters have turned down the same offer then it tells you the offer is not acceptable.

Smith said, I need to get paid way more than that to take the L. Boxing canelo is a rigged system.

Both Smith and Saunders have credible titles at 168, something Canelo doesn't have with his WBA regular strap.

Beating wother of these adds to Canelo's legacy, credibility and worth by making him a bonified 4 weight world champ.

With all this in mind and considering what Canelo is taking from the table I don't think 12m is silly money at all. Both UK fighters would add a shed load of PPV numbers from UK Sky Sports Box Office.

I bet Eubank would sell his belt for a big check and an ass beating.

            Hard to argue against that.

The absolute worst score I've ever seen in nearly 30 years of watching boxing is the draw that the judge gave to Canelo and Mayweather.

A child could easy have established who the clear winner was.

¿Who would be? Team Canelo have some strict rehydration clauses on the the contract for their opponents & being that Smith(& in also Sounders case) is from a foreign country, they get ****d with taxes, so of course they would like to cover that cost which is something team Canelo & De La Hoya(Golden Boy) are NOT willing to help with..

Oscar is a snake but no different from Hearn. Edward knows now how Wilder felt as a champion (as these boys are). Being offered 15m of a 100m fight (15%) and i'll bet these figures are around the same!

And he ****s on about Wilder refusing to fight Joshua ....a ridiculous man!

Smith and BJ should fight each other .Only problem is one looks spectacular he never gets the fight.

Always hold out for more money. There's literally no reason not too.

Best Case: They give into your demands and you get more money

Worst Case: You get the same offer they were offering to begin with.

Someone will bite eventually, just gotta go through the motions.

Especially as Hearn uses the same rationale when he's trying to low ball other fighters!

Neither of those two is deserving of anywhere near the price kovalev or jacobs got. $5-6mill should be enough for them to take a chance on themselves for greatness hahaha.
