Please explain why does Floyd get a pass ?
He just came out saying he did not train for his fight with Conor
Isn’t that a slap in the face to his fans ?
What about those fans who ponied up big bucks to go see a boxing match , two hard training individuals punching each other for victory ?
If Floyd doesn’t take the sport seriously how can we take him seriously ?
If it were any other boxer , who stated that they did not train for a competitive ( no pun intended ) fight , this board would be lit up , with fans wanting his fughin head
So why not Floyd’s head
It wasn’t ok when Andy Ruiz didn’t train , so why is it ok when Floyd doesn’t train ?

Floyd never lost plus it was insulting that anyone thought Connor had a shot in hell.

The fact that people like you make issues if irrelevant **** like this is why I hadn’t participated in this forum for years, it’s disgusting.
If you don’t like him go train make yourself a household name and challenge like Conor did lil boy.

2. Mayweather didn't need to train hard to beat McGregor in a boxing match.

3. Ruiz needed to train hard and was fighting the most important fight of his career but came in blatantly fat and unprepared. He lost the fight.

He didn't fight like he barely trained. If he didn't say anything you wouldn't have known the difference. Ruiz on the hand looked like crap and his lack of training showed.

Personally , I don’t think he needed to train against an mma fighter
But also , like you said , no I’d rather not know
The fight was huge cause many casuals jumped on board , I’m sure they were glad to hear the guy they spent money on barely trained

If he lost he would be shredded for saying it, but after winning by tko he proved his preparation was right, do you think Manny trained for Horn as he would for Mayweather, they all do it to some degree depending on how motivated they are.

There is no script to winning and a fighter will train according to whom he is facing.

As a professional athlete stating he barely trained and I paid for a ticket , I’d feel ripped off
I’d rather not hear that from him or anyone else but cause it’s Floyd , people trying to make me sound ignorant or hater , which is not the case

My point is , myself as a fan and me paying for a ticket , it’s a fughin slap in the face

It’s kind of ridiculing his fans , telling them that he barely trained
Ruiz and Kovalev didn’t train and were massacred on this site although they lost , it’s not the point
It would bug me if I go to the ball game and the team comes out flat , I’d feel ripped off
