Surely the most logical thing to do @ 168Lb would be for Benavidez to fight plant & Smith fight BJS with the winner to face each other. The canelo carnival has become as boring as watching paint dry & the prima donna needs to realise that he's not some kind of God!

Yeah but Canelo is the more complete fighter than all of them; best punches, accuracy, fan friendly. Nothing to do with Gods, and they've been there longer than Canelo. Can't blame Canelo for what you think is ''logical'' matchmaking.

Benavidez vs Plant would be a good fight.

I actually think that Charlo should challenge the winner of Benavidez vs. Yildrim, whenever that happens. If Charlo beats Benavidez, which is a big "IF," that would definitely create demand for Canelo! The Carnival continues!

I feel like Caleb Plant is in FS1 purgatory. His fights always seem to be there. Not on Fox and not on Showtime. My FS1 stream is terrible so I never bother watching.

Why do you bring Jarmall into this? He's at 160, and his best win there was a 35 yo Korobov.

Benavidez vs Plant would be a great step up fight for both and shake the division up a little bit. After that the winner needs to call out Smith then a possible Canelo showdown would be in the cards for em.

He's at 160, but the man he wants is at 168. I think he needs to take chances to get the fight, and Charlo vs. Benavidez @ 168 would be a big fight, and an in-house fight too! He doesn't have to do it right away, in fact, I think he should fight Derevyanchenko next! Yes, I believe he beats Dervy too!
