Surely the most logical thing to do @ 168Lb would be for Benavidez to fight plant & Smith fight BJS with the winner to face each other. The canelo carnival has become as boring as watching paint dry & the prima donna needs to realise that he's not some kind of God!

According to David's dad they were already offered the canelo fight around the time they wanted to go to toprank but they turned it down because he thought his son was to young and would lose

It’s a tough situation if you are Team Benevidez I’m sure they believe they can beat any Super Middleweight in the world right now and making exciting fights is what it’s all about...with that said DB just turned 23...Caleb, Callum, BJS are all much older (although not really more accomplished)

If David can pound mandatories for a couple years and truly grows into a man I’m not sure these three have anything for him.

If the kid can do that then he sets himself up for a shot at being the next Canelo...he can deploy the GGG-Canelo or Floyd plan then...which is waiting for your opponent to lose just enough venom before u decide you have the balls to sign.

Canelo should fight David now he probably stops him late in a war...wait 4 years and I’m not so sure.
