Russell has slowly become the bogeyman of the 126-135 pound divisions. This would be a risky fight for Davis. Tank definitely has the power to defeat him but Russell has the speed to outpoint him. This is a 50/50 fight in my judgement.

I like the energy. I think he made a calculated move with lsc and his dad and he’s coming for tank on the heels of his issues. Rightly so, he can beat these guys but everyone wants to be a rockstar

I like this fight but Russell stays flip flopping on moving up to fight Davis or not but I also don't like the excuse Davis's trainer said about Russell not being a draw.

LOL come on man. 5'5 Stevie Johnston wasn't beating no Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Now, I don't know what all transpired as far as him refusing to fight him or not but I do know during that period Floyd wanted to fight bigger names and was more interested in being fast tracked to the top. I can totally see why he would refuse to fight someone he knew couldn't beat him for peanuts when there was bigger fish out there.
