Lets be honest Wilder and Fury are both very mediocre

Pretty lousy fighters compared to past guys at the top of the HW division.

One guy hasn't improved at all looks like he stepped into a boxing gym 6 months ago making a career off of a hard right hand.

Another guy who is a clunky awkward pillow puncher with decent athleticism for his size but just the very basic skills.

When you compare them to past legends like iron Mike in the 80s Lennox evander jack Johnson Ali even rid****,then yea they would be pretty average when it came to those guys. Those guys are a dying breed now we got what we got.Its sad but it is what it is.And at the end of the day its just sports.People need to start being a fan of themselves there family and God.

Both have attributes that are A+, which is enough nowadays.

I don't think we'll see a right hand like Wilder's again and I don't think we'll ever see a man at 6'9 260lbs like Fury who can move and box for 12 rounds at his level.

As a boxing fan i watch Wilder and cringe. How the **** did we get to this point where a fighter so skill less is viewed as one of the best. ****ing butterbean was more skilled than this guy.

Wilder is one of the least skilled champions I have ever seen in any weight class. He is also the most powerful puncher we've seen in maybe 3 generations.

This is a very weak era of heavyweights. These 2 guys r just the smartest kids in a mental classroom.

This echos my sentiments really, though i'm not quite as high on Fury. I feel his wins are quite selective and the idea of him seemingly being so elusive is a bit of a fallacy. He takes more punches than people seem to realise and while his movement is certainly the best in the division, I don't think it's as good as advertised. Having said all that, i'm still picking him over wilder

Wilder would knock out Tyson and Ali, yes he's not that skilled but when he lands, he lands big. Fury would make Tyson look like a sparring partner and beat Ali comfortably. His hardest fight would be Lewis, but he'd beat him too. Stop overrating these old guys. Mike Tyson's resume is trash, and he lost bad every time he fought someone with a pulse. Nash out.

i would agree in general, i always thought Fury was overrated tbh & it turns out hes the best of the lot!?
I think this era of HW's is really bad. but i think its going to get real good again when the likes of:

                  Hrgovic
                  Dubois
                  Usyk
                  Ajagba
                  Gassiev (where is he?)
                  Tony Yoka
                  Sirenko
                  Makhmudov

will make the division extremely exciting again when they start to all step up by the start of next year.
