There's always some bull$--t happening when it comes to making the big fights.

I'm hearing Loma doesnt want the fight in New York all of a sudden even though he's fought in New York plenty of times now. The fight makes no sense in Vegas soooooo..Bob's probably gonna force the issue. Maybe sweeten the pot for Loma a little more.

If I have to wait all the way until June for this fight I'll be pissed.

There is a window here for Loma. His amazing reflexes and near super-human movement will fade over time. Someone will catch him at the perfect time, especially here at 130 where Lomachenko is fighting slightly bigger and usually stronger opponents.

Smart strategy: Unify soon. While you are at the peak of your athletic abilities. Then get back down to a more natural weight division to write the rest of your legacy. If everyone thinks this is prime Lomachenko like I do, then getting Lopez now makes all the business sense in the world. Lopez is a beast that is just coming into his prime.

Vasyl himself said he doesn't want to fight much past 32 since the human body starts to go downhill after that. He can fight until 40 easy with how he takes care of himself but why?

He's proven himself so far and all he needs is a few more fights and he's HOF guaranteed.

loma is almost shot. nearly got ko'd by linares, debatable decision wins over pedraza and campbell. hes being sacrificed to the young buck but this is common place in boxing. just gotta take that L as he has absolutely no chance to win. respect to him if he does go through with the beating

cool theory cept loma will have had much more inactivity than lopez so it makes no sense

I like the confidence of this man but he's too inexperienced to fight elite fighters like lomachenko. Loma by decision.

at this point i don't think loma is worried about inactivity. pretty common that older fighters take longer breaks. they're so experienced already. not going to forget anything. but yeah, just different circumstances than khabib-ferguson. ferguson longer in the tooth too.

Lopez fights similar to philly shell fighters, so he's very, very good at shooting the right or letting you walk right into. Do we have a manny/marquez if loma jumps into a perfect counter? Loma has been down and Lopez has most power and best trigger he has fought since the Russell fight.
