What we do know is Loma started training 3 weeks ago. His training is geared for three months, carefully planned. Delaying the fight 2 months throws his prep on its head. So, evidence points that Loma is not happy with the delay either. As usual Loma is adjusting to a situation with clarity and maturity. Life happens, deal. The frustration from Lopez is a sign of not being able to adjust smoothly. Translates to how Teo couldn't adjust to Nakatani. If the other fighter isn't going down, how to adjust. If Teo can't hit Loma, will he get exposed again.

My conjecture is that they are delaying the fight because Lopez has trouble making 135. The longer they wait, the more trouble Lopez will have making 135.

Reminds me of Khabib-Ferguson. That got pushed way later in 2020 than Ferguson wanted. Loma and Khabib pretty similar. Their greatness is accepted and both looking to be out of the game. Khabib held that up because like Loma, he likes doing other things and it's strategic. Both their opponents are seen as having some drama going on and they will rust from inactivity.

Good observation. That could very well be the reason.

This fight should have been set for April.
As per social media, Loma already started training, so I doubt it’s his side that’s pushing the fight back.

I can't see Loma beating Lopez.
Said it before this fight was signed.
Lopez will be considerably heavier on fight night.
At age 22, the added weight won't effect his speed.
Looking forward to this great fight.

if I started training and the other side stalled, I would get out of the fight.

This will be Lopez’s coming out party and make him a boxing star after he beats Lomochenko. I honestly think that Lomochenko has never fought a explosive fighter like Lopez, Lomochenko has the boxing edge but I don’t see him taking Lopez power punches well.

Can’t wait but they fight is taking forever to make, boxing is the worse
